Service call
35 dollars, the same in all 35 cities. It comes off the price if you go ahead with the work.
You approve first
You get the exact number on the phone, and again at the door. Nothing starts until you say yes.
Warranty
5 years on a new door, 3 years on springs when both are replaced, 1 year on an opener. Everything else follows the manufacturer.
No after hours rate
Because there is no after hours service. We work Mon to Fri: 7am to 8pm · Sunday: 8am to 6pm.
Springs
| What it is | Price |
|---|---|
| Broken torsion spring replaced, door re-balanced and tested | 180 to 290 dollars per spring, fitted |
| High cycle spring instead of a standard one | 80 to 120 dollars more per spring, by size |
| Extension springs converted to a torsion system | 689 dollars |
On a door with two springs we replace both. That is what happens on about 98 percent of jobs, because both springs have lifted the door the same number of times. If you want one only, that is your call. Special order springs are quoted separately.
Openers, remotes and keypads
| What it is | Price |
|---|---|
| Chamberlain belt drive opener, supplied and fitted, two remotes and a camera | 689 dollars |
| Wall mount opener, supplied and fitted | from 1,350 dollars, by model |
| Opener gear kit replaced | 289 dollars |
| Logic board | depends on the opener model, quoted on the phone |
| Remote, supplied and programmed | 50 dollars, with a 100 dollar tune up visit |
| Keypad, supplied and programmed | 65 dollars, with a 100 dollar tune up visit |
A remote or a keypad on its own still needs a technician at the door, so it is done together with the 21 point tune up rather than as a call of its own.
Doors that jam, stick or come off the track
| What it is | Price |
|---|---|
| Door off the track, put back on, aligned and tested | from 200 dollars |
| Extra track or a strut, where the door bent something | 50 to 100 dollars |
| Cables replaced, pair | 200 dollars |
| Nylon rollers, whole door | 249 dollars |
| Hinge | 125 dollars each |
| Cable drum | 125 dollars each |
The from price is the door back on its track with nothing else damaged. If the door bent a track or a strut on the way off, that is the extra line above, and you hear the number before anything is fitted.
Maintenance and sealing
| What it is | Price |
|---|---|
| 21 point tune up, one door | 100 dollars |
| Second door at the same address, same visit | 50 dollars |
| Bottom weather seal, double door | 200 dollars |
| Bottom weather seal, single door | 125 dollars |
The weather seal price assumes the retainer, the channel the seal slides into, is sound. If the retainer has to be replaced too, that is quoted before the work.
New doors, fitted, old door taken away
| What it is | Price |
|---|---|
| 16 by 7 double door, no windows, no insulation | 1,800 dollars |
| 16 by 7 double door, basic insulation and standard windows | 2,650 dollars |
| 8 by 7 single door, no windows, no insulation | 1,250 dollars |
| 8 by 7 single door, insulated | 1,650 dollars |
Fitted prices. The old door is removed and taken away. Custom sizes, wood overlay, glass and HOA restricted designs are quoted after we look at the opening.
Plain English
What Is Not On This Page
Special order springs, custom and wood overlay doors, glass doors, HOA restricted designs, commercial doors and opener logic boards are not listed, because the price depends on the part or the door and quoting a number here would be guessing. Call and you get a real number for your door instead of a range.
We work on sectional doors, the kind built from panels. We do not work on roll up or rolling steel doors.

Questions About Pricing
Is the 35 dollar service call added on top of the repair?
No. If you go ahead with the work, the 35 dollars comes off and you pay the price of the job. The service call is 35 dollars for every customer and every city we cover, near or far.
Do I have to replace both springs?
On a door with two springs we replace both, and that is what happens on about 98 percent of jobs. Both springs have lifted the door the same number of times, so when one goes the other is usually close behind. If you would rather do one, we will do one.
Why does a high cycle spring cost more?
It is a thicker wire and a longer coil, so it works under less stress and lasts far longer. A standard builder spring is rated around 10,000 cycles. A high cycle spring is rated 25,000 to 50,000, which is 80 to 120 dollars more per spring depending on the size.
Do you charge more to come out to the far cities?
No. The service call is 35 dollars whether the job is in Scottsdale or in Casa Grande, and the prices on this page are the same in all 35 cities we cover.
Do you work after hours?
No. We work the published hours, Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm and Sunday 8am to 6pm. There is no after hours rate because there is no after hours service.
What is the warranty?
A new door installed carries 5 years. Springs carry 3 years when both springs are replaced. An opener carries 1 year. Anything else follows the manufacturer instructions for that part.
Is the price on this page what I will actually pay?
It is what we charge for the standard version of that job. You get the exact number on the phone before anyone is booked, and again at the door before any work starts. Nothing gets done until you approve the price.
