Garage Door Won't Open in Buckeye: What To Check Before You Call
Most Buckeye commuters find out at 6am, with the car inside. Here is a three-minute check that tells you what broke, what it costs, and what is safe to try.
In most cases the door will not open because of a broken torsion spring (180 to 290 dollars fitted), a door off its track (from 200 dollars), or a sensor fault you can often clear yourself. Look at the spring first, because it decides whether you should stop and call.

Check 1: Is The Spring Broken?
Look at the long spring above the door. A visible gap in the coil, or a loud bang you heard earlier, means it has broken. The opener will hum or strain and the door will not lift, because the spring was carrying most of its weight.
If you see a gap, stop. Do not pull the red emergency cord and do not force the door. The cables are under tension. Call (480) 405-0909 and tell us what you see.
Check 2: Is The Door Sitting Crooked?
If one side of the door hangs lower than the other, or a roller has popped out of the track, the door has come off track. Do not push it back by hand. A door off track starts at 200 dollars to fix, and moving it yourself can bend the track and turn a small repair into a bigger one.
Check 3: Are The Sensors Blinking?
If the opener light blinks and the door goes down but will not go up, a sensor near the floor is probably knocked out of line or covered in dust. Wipe both lenses and make sure the small lights are steady. Buckeye's open land and wind carry a lot of dust, so this is a common one. If that does not clear it, call us.
What Customers Wrote About Mornings Like This
This is the kind of call we get. A customer named Ruben wrote on Google that he woke up to a broken spring with his car trapped inside, called, and that we were at his house "within just a few hours" with a couple of replacement options. Another reviewer said we replaced an old opener, cables and springs for a reasonable price. These are Valley customers rather than Buckeye specifically, and Buckeye is further out, so ask for the arrival window when you call.
Our Google profile shows 5.0 stars across 49 reviews. The service call is 35 dollars and it comes off the price if you go ahead. We work Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm and Sunday 8am to 6pm, under Arizona ROC license 338265.

Questions People Ask About This
Why won't my garage door open but the opener motor runs?
Usually the spring has broken. The motor runs but the door is too heavy to lift without it. Look for a gap in the coil above the door and do not force it.
How much does it cost to fix a garage door that won't open in Buckeye?
A spring replacement is 180 to 290 dollars fitted. A door off track starts at 200 dollars. A sensor problem is often free if you can clear it yourself. The 35 dollar service call is credited if you go ahead.
Is it safe to open the door manually in Buckeye heat or any time?
Only if the spring is intact and the door is not off track. With a broken spring, a manual lift is heavy and the cables are under tension. If in doubt, leave it and call.
How soon can you reach Buckeye?
Buckeye is on the far west side of the Valley, so ask for the arrival window when you call (480) 405-0909. We will give you a real time instead of a guess.
