Trust is a record, not an adjective
Anyone can put the word trusted on a page. What separates a claim from a record is whether a stranger can confirm it without asking you to take anything on faith. Four things qualify: an active contractor licence you can look up by number, proof of insurance on request, a written quote issued before anyone touches the door, and a rating you can see the review count behind.
None of those four are opinions. If a contractor cannot produce all four, the word trusted is doing work that evidence should be doing.
How to look up an Arizona licence, and what to read
Go to the Arizona Registrar of Contractors site and search the licence number — ours is ROC338265. Three fields matter. Status should read active, not suspended or expired. The classification should actually cover the work, because a licence in an unrelated trade is not a licence for your door. And the complaint history tells you whether the Registrar has had to get involved.
This is not pedantry. If an unlicensed worker is injured in your garage, or damages the door, you are the one holding the problem. The licence is the line between a contractor’s liability and yours.

The written quote is the real test
A number said out loud on your driveway is not a quote. A quote names the part, the labour, the warranty term on each, and the total, and it exists before the work begins. Torsion spring replacement runs 180 to 290 dollars for the common sizes on Gilbert double and triple doors. The service call is 35 dollars and it is credited into the repair if you go ahead.
A contractor who will not write the number down before starting is reserving the right to change it once the door is in pieces. That is the single most useful thing you can learn about a company in the first five minutes.
What we do not do matters more than what we do
We do not quote a complete opener replacement when a 40 dollar drive gear is the actual fault, because nobody here earns a commission on the size of the invoice. We do not deliver the speech about the whole door being unsafe without showing you the measurement that makes it unsafe. And we do not fit used or salvaged parts, because a used part is a warranty problem wearing the costume of a saving.
The crew has been small and largely the same since 2012. The person who answers the phone knows which technician is coming, and the technician who arrives is the one who was named.
The Gilbert trust problem nobody mentions: the lead broker
A large share of what looks like local Gilbert search results are national lead brokers. They are not contractors. They buy the search placement, sell your phone call to whoever is bidding that hour, and have no relationship with the person who ends up in your driveway.
Three questions on the phone sort it out. Is this the company itself or a call centre. What is your ROC number — asked before the address, because a broker has to stall. Who is the technician coming out. A real contractor answers all three immediately; a broker cannot answer any of them.

Questions about checking us out
How do I verify your licence?
Search ROC338265 on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors website. It will show the business name, active status, the classification and bond. You do not need to ask us for anything to do it, which is the point.
Do you charge for a quote?
Diagnosis carries a 35 dollar service call, which is credited into the repair if you proceed. The written quote itself costs nothing extra, and you are under no obligation after receiving it.
Do you use new or refurbished parts?
New only. A refurbished opener board or a salvaged spring cannot carry a meaningful warranty, and the saving is wiped out the first time it fails on a Sunday.
Are you actually local to Gilbert?
Yes. We have worked the Phoenix Valley since 2012 and cover Gilbert directly, including Power Ranch, Morrison Ranch, Val Vista Lakes, Agritopia, Seville and Layton Lakes. You will not be routed to a call centre in another state.
What happens if the repair does not hold?
Call us and we come back. The warranty term for the part and for the labour is written on your invoice, so there is nothing to argue about later. Keep the invoice — it is the whole claim.
Check us, then call us
Look up ROC338265 first if you want to. Then call with the opener model number and the symptom, and you will get a diagnosis, a written number, and the name of the technician who is coming.
