How Much Does a New Garage Door Cost in Arizona? Our Installed Prices
Most price pages online quote a national average that does not match what an Arizona home pays. These are the numbers we actually charge, what moves them, and what to ask before you sign.
A new standard 16 by 7 steel double garage door, supplied and installed, starts at 1,800 dollars with us. An insulated door with windows, which is the one most homeowners we quote choose for the summer heat, is 2,650 dollars. The opener is separate: a belt drive supplied and fitted is 689 dollars. The service call is 35 dollars and comes off the price if you go ahead.

The Prices, Line By Line
This is the price list as it applies to a door replacement. Nothing here is an estimate range pulled from a national website:
- Standard 16 by 7 steel double door, supplied and installed: from 1,800 dollars
- Insulated door with windows, same size, supplied and installed: 2,650 dollars
- Belt drive opener, supplied and fitted: 689 dollars
- Wall-mount opener for tall or low-headroom doors: from 1,350 dollars
- If the door is fine and only the spring failed: 180 to 290 dollars fitted
- If the door has only come off its track: from 200 dollars
- Service call: 35 dollars, taken off the job if you go ahead
The last three lines matter. A lot of people price a new door when a 200 dollar repair would have done it, so we quote the repair first whenever the door itself is sound.
What Actually Moves The Number
Size comes first. A single door costs less than a 16 by 7 double, and a three-car opening or a tall door is quoted after we measure. Next is insulation: an insulated door costs more up front and is the one we see people regret not buying in a garage that shares a wall with the house.
Windows, material and style come after that. Steel is the baseline in our prices. Wood and carriage-house styles are quoted on site, because the weight changes the spring and the hardware as well as the door, and we would rather measure than guess a figure on the phone. The opener is its own line, since many homes keep a working opener and only change the door.
When To Replace And When To Repair
Replace when the panels are the problem: bent sections, cracked or rotted panels, or a door that no longer closes square. No repair price makes sense on a door in that state.
Repair when it is a part. A broken spring is 180 to 290 dollars, a door off its track starts at 200, and neither one is a reason to spend 1,800 or more. If we look and the door is sound, we will tell you that, and the 35 dollar service call is credited either way.

New Garage Door Cost Questions, Answered
How much does a new garage door cost installed in Arizona?
From us, a standard 16 by 7 steel double door starts at 1,800 dollars supplied and installed, and an insulated door with windows is 2,650 dollars. Wood, carriage-house and oversized doors are quoted after we measure.
Is an insulated garage door worth it in an Arizona summer?
If the garage shares a wall with the house or sits under a bedroom, yes. It is the more expensive option at 2,650 dollars against 1,800 for plain steel, and it is the one most homeowners we quote choose.
Does the price include a new opener?
No. The opener is a separate line. A belt drive supplied and fitted is 689 dollars, and a wall-mount opener starts at 1,350 dollars. If your current opener works, you can keep it.
Will you try to sell me a new door when I only need a repair?
We quote the repair first when the door is sound. A spring is 180 to 290 dollars and a door off its track starts at 200. Google reviewers list "no upselling" as a topic in four reviews, and we would like to keep it that way.
Do you charge for the estimate?
The service call is 35 dollars and it comes off the price if you go ahead with the work. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 to 20:00 and Sunday 8:00 to 18:00, and our Arizona licence number is ROC338265.
